- In a manner that may lead third parties to believe that a product or service has been certified when the certification applies only to the management system;
- By using an accreditation body's mark such as UKAS, JAS-ANZ or another accreditation mark independently, without complying with the approved design and applicable conditions of use;
- On test reports, calibration certificates, inspection reports or inspection certificates in a manner that could imply that the individual results themselves have been certified by GIC Vietnam.

Use of Product and Goods Certification Marks
A product certification mark may be used only for the specific products, goods, standards or technical regulations and scope covered by the certification. Its use shall comply with the applicable certification programme, GIC Vietnam's instructions and any relevant requirements governing the use of accreditation marks.
The mark indicates that the organization's management system has been certified; it shall not be used in a manner that could lead users to believe that the organization's products have been certified.
The mark may be used in relation to products or goods covered by the certified scope where permitted by the applicable certification scheme or programme.
